It doesn’t matter (well it matters a little) because we can begin mediation before you have filed for divorce. This allows you to have everything prepared before you file simplifying and expediting the process. But don’t worry because even if you are in the middle of your case you can still use mediation.

It’s just that now that your case is before the court the timeline may get sped up because you are on the court’s clock and not your own. Either way in addition to the mediation services I can draft the legal documents needed before you file, while you are in the middle of your case, or the final documents needed to submit to the court to complete your case.
